The Really Old Bali Blog (2013-2015) « Did the earth move for you? Minor earthquake jolts Ubud

A minor tremblor gently rocked Ubud on 23 Sep 2013, with no serious damage reported. It struck off the coast of Bali and measured a hefty 4,8 on the Richter Scale.

A day later the massive 7,8 bats Pakistan, flattening thousands of homes and killing hundreds.

The Ring of Fire is a connected thing.

Tip: Always leave your keys in your front door before you go to bed - it saves you scrabbling around when the walls are caving in. And if you live in Canggu, it makes it tricky for those pesky night-time home-invaders to pick your lock.
